Position: We are seeking a skilled Chef with a passion for culinary excellence and innovation to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who respects the rich history of Indian cuisine while embracing modern culinary practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and plan menus while considering dietary requirements, ensuring a balance between traditional Indian flavours and modern dietary trends.
• Oversee and ensure the highest quality of dishes throughout all stages of preparation and presentation, adapting traditional techniques to cater to health-conscious recipes.
• Collaborate with Management, Dietitians, and front-of-house staff to discuss culinary processes, with a special focus on dietary needs and customer preferences.
• Lead kitchen demonstrations and provide guidance on specialised cooking techniques and dietary adaptations.
• Uphold stringent hygiene and safety regulations, ensuring all kitchen activities meet health and safety standards.
• Participate in the training and development of kitchen staff to ensure consistent quality and service.
• Innovate preservation techniques and methods suited to dietary-specific ingredients and recipes.
