About the role
As an expert on key systems, the Senior Mechanical Reliability Engineer will use their technical expertise to drive improvement activities throughout the plant along with initiatives to optimize equipment performance through modification control processes.
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will work in collaboration with maintenance leaders, coordinators and shift leaders to drive improvement initiatives throughout the plant.
Responsibilities included but not limited to:
Investigating equipment reliability issues to root cause and implementing corrective actions
Scoping and implementing small value CAPEX projects and assuming POR role on larger projects.
Leading development of maintenance strategies (preventative and condition-based checks and SOPs)
Proactively engage with the maintenance and Operations teams to identify, scope and prioritise Proactive maintenance tasks.
