The full time Mixed Crop and Livestock Farmer will be responsible for assisting in the operational management and improvement of farms to ensure maximum yields and quality is met. Responsible for the day to day management of a mixed crop and livestock farmer reporting to the General Manager (Farms). You will oversee the full ground preparation, planting, growing and harvesting process and work in conjunction with our agronomy team, along with working with our livestock to ensure their recommendations and inputs are effective. Your Tasks: Manage all operations associated with the crop growing season including: Pivot moving Ground preparation Planting Fertilizing Spraying Harvesting Grading Inspection of pivots to apply the correct level of water for moisture of growing and harvesting crops.
