NVC Group-Hotel Service is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Food Service Staff handler to join our friendly team. These full-time positions is located at our aged care facility (Riverside Garden) located at Nambucca Heads. The working hours are 06:00 am to 7:30 pm Monday to Sunday.
Selection Criteria
Essential:
good written and verbal communication skills
the ability to work as a member of a team
passionate about providing a high standard of customer service, a love for making a difference in someone’s day and a genuine alignment to NVC Group values
supportive attitude towards all residents and their families
understanding of Equal Employment Opportunities, Work Health and Safety and Infection Control Standards and Regulations.
commitment to continuing education and professional development
ability to follow food protocols and contribute to a hygienic work environment, safety (WHS) protocols and cleanliness standards set by NVC Group.
Desirable:
experience in catering in an aged care facility
have an understanding of Accreditation Aged Care Standards and of the Vulnerable Person Food Safety Legislation
current driver licence
Certificate in Cooking/Certificate II or III in Hospitality/Food Safety Certificate or relevant experience
