Choux Box Café is looking for a full-time Café Manager. We are open 7 days a week for breakfast and lunch and is a licensed venue. We have a take away menu available and also do catering and made to order cakes. Choux Box is the longest running family business in Kingscliff and now needs a new team member to join us.
Qualifications/Experience required:
Diploma in Hospitality/Business and no less than 3 years experience in the role.
Responsibilities include the following:
Recruitment/induction and training of employees
Must have knowledge of DEPUTY payroll software
Rostering of all staff, managing leave requests and replacing staff that are on sick leave & holiday leave.
Entering in deliveries and completing weekly stocktake incl alcohol.
Placing of all orders for all items necessary for running of the front of house. This includes restocking of alcohol etc.
Planning menus with the chefs
Planning & organising functions & catering
Making sure all staff have uniforms and are attired according to dress code
Direct and undertake housekeeping facilities such as maintaining the cleanliness of the café including the toilets and back area.
Ensure safety procedures are followed to prevent injuries
Promote and encourage a high level of customer service
Handle any customer complaints
Work closely with owners to meet revenue objectives
Ensure all staff follow procedure policies regarding the handling of cash, property & equipment
Remuneration on offer between $73,000 to $76,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on experience.
