Job description:
• Prepare financial reports by gathering, interpreting, and analysing financial data.
• Create detailed and understandable reports for stakeholders.
• Analyse and verify payroll data and financial statements to identify trends and variances.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Analyse essential expenditures and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Prepare, produce, and analyse payroll-related reports, including employment costs such as sick leave, unpaid sick leave, overtime, casual, and agency usage.
• Review and update rosters to ensure efficient use of resources and minimizing payroll costs.
• Liaise with Human Resources to address payroll trends.
• Partner with Home Managers and Administrators to communicate and resolve payroll queries.
• Manage payroll-related government reporting and lodgments.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and timely submission of required reports.
• Liaise with the General Manager of Resident Aged Care to highlight trends and issues needing attention from Home Managers.
• Partner with various departments to support financial planning and analysis initiatives.
• Ensure delivery of function’s KPIs and efficient management of resources.
Qualifications/Attributes:???
• Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of payroll systems and workforce analytics.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000 p.a. excluding superannuation.
