We are seeking a passionate and experienced Tree Inspector to play a crucial role in liaising with customers to assess and manage tree-related issues to enhance the natural beauty and safety of our community. You will undertake tree inspections and determine a tree risk rating to delegate works to our specialised arborist teams across our local government area.
To be successful you will require;
Qualifications and experience in arboriculture including tree inspections as well as accreditation in Chainsaw Operations (Level1 & 2)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively
Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment
The ability to provide expert advice and recommendations on tree health, condition and potential risks through Councils tree management practices and strategies.
Skills to maintain accurate records of inspections and assessments to enable the arborist crews
