This crucial role reports to the People and Development Manager and plays an integral role in implementing a range of programs and processes in the business. You will work closely with business leaders to understand business imperatives and align HR operations to meet the requirements. Responsibilities will include:
Performance Management, review, succession planning and retention
Upskilling leaders to better prepare them to work effectively with their teams
The provision of advisory services in the areas of IR, ER, legislation, contemporary HR practices, company policy and advice
Provide support to site based HR staff surrounding recruitment, organisational development, coaching and counselling and investigations
Assist in the promotion and embedding of first class WH&S initiatives
Involvement in training and development of staff capabilities, ensuring technology is utilised fully in the HR function
Responsibilities for a range of projects in conjunction with the broader business leaders and GM of HR.
Support the GM of HR with information, analytics and benchmarking data pertinent to the organisation.
This position is based in the National Head office and will see you visit a range of sites to better understand the business and partner with the teams. The role will suit an individual looking to immerse themselves in the culture and strategic direction of the business. With experience in all aspects of HR, you will be a strong communicator with the ability to achieve desired outcomes. Skilled in project management, you will be action orientated with well-developed commercial acumen. It is expected that you will be tertiary qualified. Experience drawn from a manufacturing or a blue collar, multi - site environment will be crucial to your success.
