SimCorp provides IT solutions and services to investment management organizations around the globe. Our front-to-back solution, SimCorp Dimension, is market-leading and used by over 200 buy-side institutions to manage their assets.
Business Consultants Principals are expert professionals who form part of our Professional Services team working within Consulting Services and based within the market units. The main purpose of the role is to lead the strategic design and advise on best practices of the implementation of SimCorp Dimension within a client’s environment. The role contributes to all aspects of the delivery of SimCorp Dimensions, including design, configuration, integration, training and standard solutions.
What you will be responsible for
Business Consultancy:
• Project lead who manages the solution design across workstreams and delegates activities between the project team and the configuration delivery centre
• Design solutions across multiple modules on a given project and translating client requirements into solution design
• Anticipate client needs based on the understanding of their business and work with Business Consultants to identify short and long-term solutions
• Responsible for contributing to and informing project reporting and steering committee content
• Responsible for knowledge sharing approach and design within the market unit in order to upskill less experienced consultants
• Communicate complex, sensitive issues clearly and credibly even in demanding situations
Business Development:
• Identify opportunities for growth and take a leadership role in exploring new ideas, feeding this back to the business and supporting its development
• Participate in sales processes when required to position SimCorp concepts and offerings
• Support the definition and commercialization of standard solutions and other related SimCorp intellectual property including services

• Expertise in the Connectivity and Data domains to work on projects in APAC assisting with the implementation of SimCorp CORIC & Dimension at asset managers, fund managers and central banks.
• Fully trained in SimCorp CORIC and experienced in delivery to clients CORIC. At least 2 years and three clients of CORIC Project delivery are required
• Client implementation experience and knowledge of 3rd party tools, such as SQL, middleware, general integration and data transformation are also required.
• Certification in advanced connectivity and in-depth knowledge of: communication server, filter toolbox, and data extractor are highly desired.
• Additional knowledge of SC BI, SC DWH (and or Snowflake) would be an advantage.
