As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team and lead our operations to new heights.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and maintain optimal product mix and stock levels for the fuel station, cafe, and convenience store to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient operations.
Establish service standards to guarantee a consistent and exceptional customer experience across all sections.
Develop and implement purchasing strategies and marketing initiatives tailored to our diverse customer base.
Set competitive pricing strategies to enhance sales and profitability.
Promote and advertise our wide range of products and services to attract and retain customers, driving business growth.
Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, selling products, and offering expert advice on product usage.
Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and promptness to ensure a positive shopping experience.
Oversee budgeting processes, ensuring financial targets are met and resources are utilized efficiently.
Monitor and analyze financial transactions, keeping accurate records of stock levels and sales data.
Implement strategies to maximize profitability and ensure timely financial reporting to stakeholders.
Recruit, train, and supervise a talented team across the fuel station and café.
Create effective staff schedules to ensure seamless operations during peak and non-peak hours.
Ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety regulations, creating a safe and secure environment for both employees and customers.
Implement company policies and uphold industry standards to maintain operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications and Skills:
AQF Advanced Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor-level qualification in Business Management, Retail Management, or Hospitality Management.
2 to 3 years of proven experience in retail management, preferably in the fuel, convenience, or hospitality sector.
Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on motivating and developing staff.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and employees.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively handling multiple tasks and challenges simultaneously.
Financial acumen and experience with budgeting, sales analysis, and financial reporting.
