Duties:
• Employing the first principles method to solve complex engineering problems.
• Designing of civil elements such as foundations, retaining walls, drainage systems with a thorough understanding of codes and regulations
• Responsible for the structural design of residential houses and townhouses, as well as non-standard custom structures requiring unique and specific structural solutions.
• Preparing necessary documents and certificates for submission at various project stages, such as construction and occupancy permits.
• Coordinating with other professionals including architects, surveyors, contractors, and clients, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conducting site investigations and feasibility studies to determine the best engineering solutions for projects.
• Supervising construction projects to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and relevant regulations.
• Performing risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges.
• Developing and reviewing technical reports, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Providing technical advice and support to clients, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participating in continuous professional development to stay updated with advancements in civil engineering practices and technology.
Skills and Experience
• Relevant bachelor's degree in the relevant fields is essential.
• Minimum three years of experience.
• Expert skills in software- SpaceGass, Microstran, Staad pro, ETABS, Inducta SLB, ClearCals, Design IT.
• Knowledge on Australian Standards: AS1170, AS3600, AS4100, AS4600,
• AS2870, AS1684, AS4055, AS4678) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, along with outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
