Group Homes Australia offers care to people with dementia and high care needs in a beautiful home environment. We have homes across Sydney's North Shore and Eastern Suburbs, each one with a dedicated team of care staff catering to a small group of 6 - 10 residents.
Our staff are called Homemakers and are experienced carers who are able to cook, clean and deliver care. There are no rigid routines - we deliver person-centered care.
We are currently seeking full time Homemakers for our Sydney Homes
If you are an experienced and confident carer who genuinely loves working with the elderly and looking for a role that will give you meaning and purpose then we want to hear from you.
You will need an outgoing personality and be someone who enjoys working as part of a committed team who delivers a high standard of care. As this is a multi-functional role, you will also be comfortable with cooking, general housework and, most importantly, engaging with our residents in life activities.
If you are available to work full time hours (flexible shifts), 5 days per week in our North Shore homes then we would love to hear from you. Cert III or IV in Aged-Care preferred but not essential.
