The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our newly established BlueScope Distribution site and join our team as a Customer Project Coordinator. The National Product, Processing & Solutions Hub is BlueScope Distribution’s new capability.  It enables us to provide our customers with a unique domestically co-coordinated supply chain solution for the delivery of large-scale projects nation-wide.

The Hub has been built with high-spec and automated equipment so we can deliver complex value-add solutions that meet our customer needs – now and into the future.

We’re proud to be investing in and growing manufacturing capability within Australia that enables our customers to deliver significant and critical projects for our communities across renewables, infrastructure, defence and mining, oil and gas.

Working with the Hub team, you will be a key contact for sales and service enquiries and will support our customers' projects with your coordination skills to ensure products are delivered to meet our customer's expectations.

What Will You Do?

As a key member of our team at the Hub, you will:

  • prepare and follow up customer enquiries, deliveries and product supply levels
  • provide overall project coordination and tracking support for our customer’s projects
  • proactively provide timely and accurate project updates to customers
  • resolve customer service issues effectively to achieve the best outcome for the customer with the least amount of impact to our business
  • work closely with the sales, operations and supply chain teams regarding customer supply and solutions
  • provide internal support and regular feedback to the sales team regarding market, customer and competitor information to assist the team to maintain our competitive market position

More About You

As a proactive customer service professional with outstanding coordination skills, you will have a positive attitude combined with an eagerness to learn and provide an exceptional customer experience. In addition, you will bring:

  • previous experience in a busy customer service or internal sales environment
  • effective communication and time management skills
  • ability to problem solve and develop solutions
  • MS office skills and CRM with competency to use and learn new systems
  • ability to work independently and in a team
