Group Account Director
Job Summary:
The Group Account Director for the Client Servicing Team is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing multiple client accounts and leading a team of account directors and managers. You will be the strategic driver of client relationships, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service and innovative solutions. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, team leadership, and business acumen to drive growth and achieve outstanding results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary senior contact for key clients, developing and nurturing long-term relationships.
- Understand clients’ business objectives and provide strategic insights to help achieve them.
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Strategic Leadership:
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns across multiple accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of client projects.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and provide strategic recommendations for improvement.
- Present campaign outcomes and strategic insights to clients, highlighting ROI and success metrics.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Oversee a team of account directors and managers, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment focused on achieving client goals.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, offering constructive feedback and identifying development opportunities.
- Recruit, train, and retain top talent within the client servicing team.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage account budgets, ensuring financial targets and profitability are met.
- Oversee project expenses and control costs effectively.
- Ensure accurate and timely billing and invoicing processes.
- New Business Development:
- Identify opportunities for account growth and new business within existing client relationships.
- Lead new business pitches and proposal development, showcasing the agency’s capabilities and expertise.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscape to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with creative, digital, production, and other teams to deliver integrated marketing solutions.
- Ensure clear communication and alignment between all stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Advocate for client needs within the agency, ensuring their objectives are consistently met.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in account management or client servicing, with a significant portion in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing multiple high-profile client accounts and delivering successful marketing campaigns.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial management, and driving profitability.
