THE OPPORTUNITY
Bimbadgen Estate is looking for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie (CDP) to play a pivotal role in the delivery of outstanding food and wine experiences across the Estate’s food and beverage operations.
Working closely with and supporting the senior Kitchen team, the CDP will:
• Assist in menu planning & development for the formal dining restaurant, casual wood-fired pizzeria and cellar door restaurant, and weddings and events
• Cook and prepare and season food as directed
• Ensure food and menu quality is at its highest and meets set standards
• Assist in the reduction of food waste by following portion control standards Maintain a high level of cleanliness within the kitchen at all times
This is a full-time position with Bimbadgen Estate Pty Limited offering a salary range of $ $73,000 to $75,000 (plus superannuation) depending on experience.
YOUR BACKGROUND
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience
• A passion for food, wine and regional tourism
• A team player attitude, displayed in both internal kitchen teams and the greater business
• A high standard of personal presentation and standard of hygiene Enthusiasm, commitment, and seeking the opportunity to learn and develop professionally
• Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be available to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
• As we are in a regional location, you will need access to your own transport.
