About the program
EACH is proud to be the Lead Agency of the Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs, and Suicide Prevention (MHAODSP) program, a new initiative delivering comprehensive, integrated, and person-centred care across the CCQ region (Central Queensland, Wide Bay, Sunshine Coast). 

Collaborating with 9 partnering organisations the aim of this service is to address service gaps by enhancing accessibility and integrating primary mental health care, AOD, psychosocial support, and early intervention and prevention through a multidisciplinary, person centred model of care. The Youth Enhanced Services (YES) Program is a pivotal initiative, delivering personalized care to adolescents aged 12-18 through a combination of comprehensive therapies and multidisciplinary team approaches. It combines in-person and digital interactions, including assertive outreach and home visits, to engage youth. Clinical oversight ensures high-quality service delivery, supported by comprehensive referral strategies to enhance care continuity.


About the role
As our Clinical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in advancing EACH’s treatment programs across multiple locations. Leading a team of dedicated clinicians, you will oversee the delivery of counselling services to young people with complex trauma, including ADHD presentations. Your responsibilities will include clinical supervision, team management, and service development initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by integrating innovative practices and ensuring high-quality care throughout our regional centres.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of clinicians, providing clinical and operational supervision, training, and guidance
  • Develop strategic partnerships to enhance service growth and responsiveness to community needs
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and maintain rigorous record-keeping to manage service risks effectively
  • Provide direct clinical services, maintaining detailed records and achieving positive outcomes for young people
  • Promote services and cultivate collaborative relationships with health agencies and the community, facilitating team meetings and case conferences to drive clinical quality improvements

About you
You’re a dynamic leader with a passion for youth mental health, equipped with relevant tertiary qualifications and extensive experience in managing multidisciplinary teams. 

As our ideal candidate, you also possess the following skills and experience:

  • A minimum of four years working directly with young people and families in mental health settings
  • Proficiency in evidence-based interventions and clinical practices tailored to youth mental health
  • Experience in successfully mentoring clinical staff and establishing effective referral networks
  • Expertise in clinical governance and crisis intervention
