Job Description:
Reporting to the Commercial Director, as a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager at Mars you will manage sourcing categories for D irect goods at a regional , and sometimes at a global level.
As a member of the commercial leadership team and team leader of four, t he primary focus of this role will be on strategy creation/planning, and execution to deliver long term competitive advantage by maximizing value for money and managing risk . You will also manage regional and some global initiatives by leveraging supplier relationships and strategic partnerships to drive standardization across both regions and segments.
This role can be either Melbourne or Wodonga based. T here would be some travel required to ensure connectivity to sites, suppliers, and a small amount of global travel.
