The role:
As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for taking designs from client brief to concept and final design presentation, producing high-quality 3D visualisations and comprehensive detailed construction and technical drawings.
Key responsibilities:
Take designs from brief to presentation, meeting all brief requirements with a high level of creativity, on time and within budget.
Ensure the design is visually pleasing, has good flow, functionality, and efficiency, and addresses safety requirements.
Select and specify all materials, finishes, and furniture.
Create and develop detailed presentations and visualisations that meet clients' briefs.
Produce clear, accurate, and concise construction drawings.
Produce CNC files for all furniture and joinery components using Pytha.
Work on projects both independently and as part of a team.
About you:
Qualification in Interior or Architectural Design.
Previous experience in commercial, retail, showroom kitchen, domestic kitchen, furniture and exhibition design.
Enjoy working in a fast-paced demanding design role.
Sound knowledge of construction methods and materials.
Skilled in technical drawings, and photo-realistic 3D visualisations.
Highly proficient with packages including SketchUp Pro, V-Ray, Pytha Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite.
