Price and Speed Containers Pty Limited is an Australian-owned Sydney business operating large forklifts, trucks and trailers. We run a workshop of mechanics and fitters working together as a team.
We are currently looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working on Heavy Machinery.
We would prefer to have someone with good communication skills. They must be able to take clear instruction from the workshop manager and work efficiently whilst maintaining a high quality of workmanship.
The successful candidate must have the following requirements to be considered for the role:
• Minimum of 5 years qualified trade experience
• Trade certificate as a Diesel Mechanic or an equivalent qualification
• Extensive knowledge and experience of the repair and maintenance of forklifts or heavy equipment and their components
• Experience in installing and testing mechanical equipment
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving problems with heavy equipment
• Technical understanding of the design and function of equipment groups
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic
