Hoodwinked Harper Pty Ltd is seeking a passionate and motivated full time Cafe Manager for our boutique venue, Hope and Anchor, based in Paddington, Brisbane. The role will be 5 days a week (approx. 38 hours) Friday to Tuesday.
The successful candidate will bring excellent customer service skills; be professional and punctual always; and be proactive in inspiring a small team of staff to deliver an exceptional experience to our patrons.
This venue caters for our highly valued and loyal customer base, a range of functions, set drinks and meal operations, and provision of live music.
The current team are genuine, high paced, fun but most importantly understand the importance of the customer experience.
Main responsibilities will include:
Maintaining an immaculate venue at all times
Staff training, development and supervision
Reporting to Owner/ General Manager
Liaising with kitchen staff
Assist in taking bookings for & facilitating functions
Ordering/ stock management
Purchasing goods and stock in line with agreed budget
Set up and closing venue
Assist the Chef and General Manager with the development of menus
Welcoming and greeting patrons
Barista / Bartending duties
Serving food
Experience:
At least 2 years of management experience in a restaurant/cafe setting
Qualifications in hospitality and/or management highly desirable
RSA essential
