Overview of Position:

About the Role:
The Office Manager is responsible for ensuring that our team at Informa Australia is working in a safe, clean, efficient and well equipped environment, with specific responsibility for Health & Safety, building management, supplies, mail & deliveries and colleague experience. While this role is within the Informa Connect business, the Office Manager’s responsibilities also encompass our fellow Informa Group businesses CAPA, Omdia and Global Support who share the York Street office with us.
You will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer of the Informa Connect Sydney.
Key responsibilities:
Health & Safety
- H&S Officer for Level 4 (training/accreditation will be provided if required)
- Point of contact for Group H&S team and George Place H&S/Security teams
- Ensuring our ongoing compliance with applicable H&S requirements at 24 York Street
- Coordination and certification for colleagues to attend First Aid and other H&S-related training as required
- Maintaining a register of all Fire, H&S and First Aid Officers on Level 4
Building
- First point of contact with George Place (ISPT and CBRE), Security and 3rd party service/maintenance/cleaning/utilities/plumbing/waste suppliers and contractors
- Ensuring Level 4 is maintained in a safe, clean and well-presented state at all times;
- Access system card management
Supplies
- Responsible for all office/kitchen consumables, stationery (excludes event-specific, IT or Capital expenditure)
Mail & Deliveries
- Responsible for distribution of incoming mail/deliveries, dealing with the George Place mail room and managing/collecting PO Box Q1439 at the QVB Post Office
- Couriers: managing outgoing couriers if assistance is required and dealing with courier contacts
Colleagues
- Social: leading or collaborating in staff functions such as Walk The World, office parties and smaller events
- Induction – Level 4 and George Place welcome and tours
