Another Man Barber & Shop opened its doors in August 2018 at 162 Hawthorn Rd, Caulfield North, VIC, 3161, and since then it has been recognized as one of the top Melbourne barber shops in the Eastern Suburbs. We are now on the lookout for an experienced Barber, who will be working at the Caulfield North Shop. However, he/she might be required to casually work at other shops located in Sandringham, Queen Victoria Market, Ripponlea or Kew, during the working hours, as required.
About the role
This full-time Barber role will require an experienced professional who is trained in all barbering services, including haircuts using scissors, razors and clippers as well as traditional shaving.
Skills and experience required
- Relevant Certificate III/Diploma qualification plus two years' work experience in the same position or closely related OR three years' work
experience in the same position or closely related
- Be confident and proficient in performing different style haircuts & beard shaping
- Possesses superior fade / taper / scissor cut techniques
- Be able to use a cut throat razor and can do a hot towel razor shave
- Training experience
- Scalp treatment and head massage
- Excellent eye and attention to details
- Be punctual and reliable
- Be customer focused
- Be able to work well in a team

Salary: $73,000 - $75,000 per year
