Job Purpose
Assist Commercial / Contract Manager and project team from inception of project to completion of project in order to ensure that delivery of project is on schedule, compliance to regulatory requirement within quality standard and budget.
Job Responsibilities:
- Organize, manage & control the performance, duties and functions of Commercial / Contract department
- Monitor the Tendering Process to ensure timely
- Conduct review on awarded tenders for detail pricing and unit rates breakdown as well as potential material price fluctuation
- Prepare project budget, cost control and claims
- Check and review final account (documents / drawings)
- Attend client consultant meeting, site meeting and site valuation
- Keep abreast of contemporary market trends
- Responsible for all contractual / commercial matters
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess Degree in Quantity Surveying / Building Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years working experience in the related field and with 5 years in similar position
- Working experience in infrastructure development will be given priority
- Meticulous and good team player
- Independent, positive attitude, self-motivated, aggressive
- Possess strong negotiation skill
- Able to work under pressure in a demanding environment
- Able to communicate efficiently in English
- Leadership skill is an added advantage
- Computer skills are required to do presentation to the management and external parties
- Responsible and hardworking
