The Opportunity On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency, we are looking for an APS6 Finance Officer to join the Budget and Finance Team based in Richmond. This is a 6 month assignment, working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. The APS6 Finance Officer is accountable under limited direction to undertake complex work that is guided by legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies, and precedents. The position is a team membership position that may be required to perform work that involves team leadership and management responsibilities requiring the setting of priorities and managing workflows of a team. Responsibilities include;
Analyse and interpret statistical reports to assist with work plans and strategic planning
Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure effective and timely cost estimates for projects
Develop correspondence for stakeholders such as financial reports, corporate documents and ministerial
