SUPPLY & DISTRIBUTION MANAGER
About Us: Unistor Global Pty Ltd is a leading construction and renovation company specializing in residential and commercial projects. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Supply and Distribution Manager to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview: The Supply and Distribution Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the supply chain, including purchasing, storage, and distribution. The successful candidate will ensure efficient and cost-effective operations, maintaining optimal stock levels, and negotiating with suppliers to meet quality and delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategy Development: Determine, implement, and monitor purchasing, storage, and distribution strategies, policies, and plans.
• Stock Management: Prepare and implement plans to maintain required stock levels at minimum cost.
• Supplier Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Inventory Control: Monitor and review storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levels.
• Tracking and Recording: Operate recording systems to track all movements of supplies and finished goods, ensuring re-ordering and re-stocking at optimal times.
• Coordination: Liaise with other departments and customers concerning requirements for outward goods and associated forwarding transportation.
• Transaction Oversight: Oversee the recording of purchase, storage, and distribution transactions.
• Staff Management: Direct staff activities and monitor their performance.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Suitable certification - (bachelor degree or higher preferred) but at least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
• At least two years’ experience in a similar environment.
