We are seeking a highly skilled Technical QA Lead who excels in both manual and automation testing methodologies. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership qualities to effectively manage a team of QA engineers and ensure the quality and timely delivery of our software products.
This is a Sydney based role and 2 days (Monday + Thursdays) will be based in our new Sydney CBD office.
What the role will involve:
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring their professional growth and development.
- Coordinate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to prioritise testing activities and resolve issues.
Testing Strategy and Execution:
- Design and implement robust test strategies for both manual and automated testing processes.
- Oversee the creation and execution of test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Drive the adoption of automation frameworks and tools to optimise testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct thorough regression testing when necessary to validate software quality and stability.
- Hands-on involvement in testing activities, including complex scenarios and troubleshooting.
- Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and technologies related to QA and testing.
- Evaluate and recommend testing tools and frameworks that align with project requirements.
