Chef Manager
Based on our highly regarded multi-national local client site (MARS Petcare) you will manage a small team that work around the clock, while working in a hands-on leadership role. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, ordering food ingredients and planning menu.
Other duties will include assisting with the preparation, serving, and control of cooked and uncooked food, training of staff and ensuring that staff follows prescribed Food Safety protocol. This role is Monday to Friday 6.30-2.00pm, salary offered is $78,000 + super
Responsibilities include: Manage kitchen and client, all ordering, staffing, compliance, cooking, menu planning, all paperwork and compliance

To be successful, you’ll need:
- Australian Citizenship or, Full Australian working rights
- Trade Certificate, Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- A SafeCheck advanced food safety certification or HACCP certification
- Knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, GFS, Outlook)
- Excellent practical and theoretical background in all areas of the kitchen i.e.: Hot Kitchens, Cold Kitchens, Pastry / Bakery, Butchery and Banquets dealing with large numbers of guests
- You have extensive knowledge of menu costing, recipe cards implementation and wage control.
- Work with the client to delivery on health outcomes.
