This role is pivotal in fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organisation. Gathering information, investigating inefficiencies and proposing improvements to optimise processes from the liquor warehouse to branches to customers and delivery.
This role is responsible for reviewing and implementing processes for the NetSuite ERP and WMS.
Role Overview:
• Analyzing existing processes and systems for inefficiencies and developing improvement strategies.
• Implementing quality control procedures to maintain product standards.
• Planning and scheduling resources like personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Conducting cost-benefit analyses for new technologies or processes.
• Designing production schedules and workflows for efficiency.
• Managing supply chain processes such as inventory and logistics.
• Ensuring workplace safety and ergonomic standards.
• Applying lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste.
• Collecting and analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Leading projects to implement process improvements.
• Designing mechanical equipment and systems.
• Directing maintenance activities for equipment and facilities.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
• Providing training on new processes and technologies.
• Promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Competencies
The preferred candidate should bring forth demonstrated leadership proficiency in roles spanning production, sales, operations, engineering, or continuous improvement, preferably within the FMCG or manufacturing sectors. Profound expertise in Lean methodologies and a solid track record of effectively executing process improvements are crucial attributes we seek. Prior experience in FMCG or the Liquor Industry in Continuous Improvement/Process Engineer/Process Analyst roles will be highly regarded.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in continuous improvement and sales, preferably within the liquor or FMCG industry.
Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Salary: between$73,000 – $80,000
Full Time: at least 38 hours per week
