The Opportunity:
As a Workshop Mechanic you'll responsible for the mechanical maintenance, servicing and repair of Council?s fleet, plant/machinery and hydraulic equipment. This position engages in technical investigation and assessment of plant and fleet failures and breakdown.
Essential Criteria
Trade Certificate and Licence in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Automotive orother relevant qualification, with experience delivering mechanical maintenanceand repair to heavy plant and equipment.
Ability to network effectively with key stakeholders in offering adviceand solutions to delivering operational services.
Demonstrated ability in the use of computer applications, and operatingdevices effectively, embracing digital solutions for works activities to enablefield productivity and scheduling based systems to facilitate day- to-dayoperations.
