2-year traineeship
Earn a Certificate III in Process Plant Operations (PMA30120)
Work on rotating equipment, compressors and separators
Learn how to monitor and maintain production processes by using sophisticated computerized control equipment
Carry our daily tasks to ensure that equipment is maintained and operating at a high level.
You will gain technical knowledge on hydrocarbon (natural gas) processing systems and develop skills. Your training will involve both on-the-job and classroom-based learning, both at local sites and registered training organisations. To be successful you will be:
An Australian citizen or permanent resident who resides in Queensland
Able to work flexible hours including 12-hour shifts on a 2 week on/off roster out of Roma
A team player with a willingness to actively contribute to achieving results
A high commitment to safety, quality and attention to detail and procedures
Passionate about building a career in the Energy Industry
Completed, or about to complete, Year 12 with a pass in Mathematics, English and a Science subject is highly regarded or any Vocational Education and Training
Hold or be willing to obtain a drivers licence at the time of appointment.
