The Chair and the members of this statutory board are entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, and educators, who bring diverse experience in science, technology and engineering; business innovation and transformation; industry innovation and research; advanced manufacturing and commercialisation
IISA works to position Australia as a leading innovation nation. Its main roles are to:
Provide strategic oversight of innovation programs under its responsibility.
Provide independent, strategic advice to government on matters relating to industry, innovation, science and research.
Promote investment in industry and Australias innovation, science and research system.
