Permanent Full-time Wastewater Treatment Assistant Operator Position Available!
The Opportunity
Join our team to assist in operating water treatment plants, reservoirs, and pump stations. Your role will include conducting inspections, performing maintenance, and managing renewal projects. Ensure our water supply consistently meets Council standards and complies with legislative and regulatory drinking water and health guidelines.
Essential Criteria
Certificate III in Water Industry Operations (Water Treatment), currently enrolled or training and/or experienced deemed equivalent and a minimum of two years? experience and demonstrated knowledge in water treatment operation, processes and maintenance and repair/rehabilitation of facilities/assets including water quality monitoring.
Knowledge of relevant legislations and water management including Australian Drinking Water Guidelines and Drinking Water Management Systems.
Proven ability in effective team collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skill set.
Demonstrated ability in the use of computer applications, and operating devices, embracing digital solutions for works activities to enable field productivity and scheduling based
