Task & Responsibilities Accurately understand and apply architectural plans and specifications to ensure construction work aligns with design intent. Oversee the coordination of labor resources and manage the procurement and timely delivery of materials, equipment, and plant. Work closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals, as well as technical and trades workers, to meet project requirements. Engage in negotiations with building owners, property developers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Prepare and submit tenders and contract bids to secure new construction projects. Develop and implement coordinated work programs for construction sites to ensure smooth project execution. Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant building legislation, performance standards, quality, cost controls, and safety regulations. Organize the submission of construction plans to local authorities for necessary approvals. Monitor and manage the performance and progress of subcontractors, ensuring they meet project standards and timelines. Coordinate and arrange for building inspections by local authorities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Qualification & Experience Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role within the construction industry. Strong understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles. Excellent ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite. In-depth knowledge of building legislation and standards. Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
