The role

We are looking for an experienced Client Rates Support Analyst to join our Freight Forwarding division at West Meadows Victoria. As a Client Rates Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing client rates, ensuring rate support via timely data entry into cargowise and ensuring timely update of rates for each client. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the freight forwarding industry. As the Client Rates Support Analyst, you will:

Coordinate with internal teams to source pricing and freight information.
Assist with quotations for shipments and respond to opportunities by sourcing pricing and providing deal coordination support.
Ensure updated quotes & sell rates in CargoWise to enable auto rating.
Identify opportunities to develop new services and revenue whilst reducing our cost to serve.
Maintain cost efficient job processing.
Ensure all department charges from suppliers are accurate and authorised for prompt payment, within the limits of any delegated authority.

About you:

Proven history in the International freight forwarding industry
Cargowise EDI software knowledge
Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Customer-focussed
Strong planning and organisational skills
Strong attention to detail
Commercial mindset/commercially driven
