About the Role

The Global Delivery Commercial Operations (GDCO) team is looking for a senior sales compensation leader to drive strategy and execution around how we pay and incentivize our sales force in Asia Pacific (APAC).

This person will lead the implementation of processes, systems, & program efficacy associated with Uber Eats' sales compensation program. The role will include the oversight of the plan design process, system implementation and administration, seller compensation support management, performance management and analytics. The role will also have heavy involvement in measuring the financial impact of the program on the business.

What You’ll Do:
APAC Leadership: Lead overall Sales Incentive Plan management for Australia, Japan, New Zealand, and Taiwan
Team Management: Lead and develop a team of compensation analysts responsible for plan administration, seller inquiry management, system development, metrics and reporting
Org Design: Define the Roles & Responsibilities for various stakeholders involved in all stages of the Sales Incentive Plan process
SIP Design: Interface with local Sales & Market leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to gather constructive internal feedback, conduct analyses, and provide recommendations to create premier compensation plans that achieve desired outcomes
SIP Expansion: Plan and design the launch of new product segments and teams within the APAC region
Budget/Cost Management: Partner with APAC stakeholders to define and implement an effective costing model that includes quotas, accelerators, bonus programs and SPIFFs for each fiscal year and work collaboratively with finance to ensure expenses align with fiscal targets
Systems: Launch new systems and enhancements with business initiatives in mind that will have a direct impact on sales compensation while ensuring data extraction and transfer is seamless within the compensation application (Xactly)
Process Improvement: Build and improve the workflows for the Global Sales Compensation team
Enablement: Create and facilitate the enablement strategy to communicate the sales compensation program each year
Governance: Develop, distribute, secure and maintain all policy documents aligned to the Global Sales Incentive Governance framework
Compliance: Design and implement audit processes for data integrity to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Plan Administration: Oversee the administration of Sales Incentive Plans with key stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely calculations & payouts for SIP performance, guarantees, SPIFFs and other rewards (eg Flex Booster, Loyalty Awards etc.)
Strategic Projects: Lead various strategic projects with Global & Regional scope across multiple teams to expand Sales Incentive Plan coverage, scale & standardize existing processes, improve operating efficiency, drive net new innovation and uplevel the overall GDCO organization.

You will work directly with executive partners from sales, sales operations, finance, HR and others to define the strategic compensation initiatives that support the go to market strategies for Uber Eats.

---- Basic Qualifications ----
Bachelors’ Degree
A minimum of 6 years working in sales compensation
A minimum of 4 years leading teams
Highly developed analytical skills
Experience managing people and leading teams through challenges

---- Preferred Qualifications ----
MBA or equivalent
Proficiency in sales incentive compensation concepts and plan structures, sales data tracking systems, processes, and methodologies
Proven track record as a strategic business partner and advisor to senior executives
Proven ability to simultaneously prioritize several projects while building consensus and resolving conflict
Proficiency in Xactly, Salesforce, SQL and Google Suite
