Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may and will be assigned as and when required.

- The candidate will be responsible for maintaining regular contact and undertaking presentations of Fantech Group products to Mechanical consultants and influencers of the specification of fans within projects. This also includes working to establish longer-term relationships with mechanical consultants within SA & NT
- Ensure all medium to large projects from design stage through to “Accepted or Lost” have been scoped for any and all Fantech products and possible technical and design assistance to enhance the Fantech Group offer.
- The candidate will be heavily involved in the overseeing of quotations and system design in projects where they can offer both increase or improve the Fantech Group offering and also offer a net gain to the customer in such areas as performance, price or
ease of installation.
- Ensure that an up-to-date project tracker is used to fully demonstrate where their time is being spent and what projects they have and are working on independently and with the External and Internal Sales Engineers.
- Liaise with other Fantech Group offices to capture and communicate opportunities for the group in respect of new customers and or new product applications. Ensure such information is recorded in the company’s electronic database.
- Have an intimate and strong understanding of all of the more technical products within the Fantech product range.
- Maintain regular professional contact with industry professionals via direct involvement in local relevant industry associations but not limited to AMCA, MBA, AIRAH, Property Council, CIBSE, FMA and/or any relevant industry associations as directed by the SA/NT Manager. This should also incorporate delivering technical education and sales and marketing activities.
- Ensure that Fantech’s performance in the market meets the Company’s financial objectives and that at all times the Company’s activities in the market maintain its reputation.
- Provide continuing surveillance of the performance of the group and competitors, products, pricing and service levels with respect to national specifications/agreements.
- Work closely with any Fantech Group Product Manager to ensure you are up to date with all technical products and offerings and provide feedback on opportunities to ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Ensure all conduct is in line with current Company policies and procedures and all current State or Federal Legislation.
- Each month update and provide the IV (Intelligent Ventilation) solutions engineer project and opportunity tracker.
- Have a clear & time managed process that allows for the greatest impact and subsequent sales outcomes.
- Assist all SA & NT sales staff to develop their sales potential.
- Ensure the work area is always maintained in a clean, tidy and safe condition, including company vehicle.
- Carry out all company administration requirements effectively & in a timely fashion
- Other responsibilities and duties as and when requested by management
- Ensure tendered projects and quotations are submitted to clients in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure that all technical submissions and product offerings are fit for purpose and protect both the customer and the business from
a performance and OH & S perspective.
- Keep the State Sales Managers informed of any problems or proposals that may offer a risk to Fantech Group
- Have a clear tracking tool to identify projects won, where additional products or margin has been achieved through the technical support offered by the IVSE.
- Make recommendations to management where upgrading systems or technology will improve productivity and performance.
- Work both independently and with the sales team to develop harmonious and productive working relationships with all other departments in the Company recognising that all positions in the Company are interdependent to each other.
- Obtain and collate any and all information concerning competitor companies, products and pricing.
- Keep management informed of competitor activity.
- Contribute to the development of local sales policy, recommending product revisions as well as price changes to the State Manager, Product Managers or Engineering Manager
- As well the above state objectives, be aware of any opportunities that could be beneficial to other branches and distributors.

Refer problems concerning quality to the SA/NT State Manager and the Quality Department and liaise with them insofar as customer satisfaction is concerned.

- Cooperate with FANTECH PTY LTD in relation to any actions taken to comply with the relevant Occupational Health and Safety regulations for the state and/or country and ensure that actions taken by the employee do not interfere with or place at risk the health, safety or wellbeing of the employee or any person in the workplace.
- Ensure compliance with all Privacy Legislation and treat all information of a personal and sensitive nature concerning the business of FANTECH PTY LTD in a professional and confidential manner.
- Ensure that all FANTECH PTY LTD policies, procedures, systems and work practices are implemented and adhered to, in particular, in human resource management (Equal Opportunity including harassment and bullying), risk management, financial management and customer service.
- Act in a professional manner at all times while performing duties for and/or representing FANTECH PTY LTD in accordance with the Business Management System (BMS), Employee Manual and accompanying policies.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITES

FANTECH PTY LTD retains the right to reasonably vary the position description as the position evolves to reflect the job being performed or required to be performed.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Education/Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
- Experience in the commercial HVAC industry
- Solid computer skills
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills

Experience and Skills
- They will also have a strong understanding of the full suite of Fantech product ranges and supported products, a good understanding of HVAC design principles and guidelines and an understanding of relevant BCA Regulations and Standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, together with an ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organisation and with customers.
- A working knowledge of BIM and an ability to interpret HVAC mechanical service drawings is desirable.

Salary Offer: $88,400 p.a. + super
