Davidson are working with a department who is seeking an experienced Media and Communications Officer.
About the Role
Proactively create and implement timely and accurate strategic media and communication content through negotiation with media outlets to maximise effectiveness of communication.

Identify stories worthy of mass-audience consumption across traditional and new media platforms and actively identify opportunities to re-position media communications to maximise their effectiveness.
Prepare, write, and distribute high-quality, targeted content including media releases, media responses, digital channel content and content for other relevant channels.
Contribute new information and ideas into the media and communication strategy for the division and cultivate a positive and collaborative network of internal and external stakeholder relationships to support its delivery.
Provide tactical support and advice to the division and members on media and reputation management issues and initiatives.
