Your new role Hays Gippsland are currently partnering with a well-known, growing organisation located in Warragul who are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join their team immediately on a full-time permanent basis. This rare and exciting opportunity will allow you to apply your well-developed office management and leadership skills within a close-nit and supportive environment.

You will be responsible for the following

Office Management

Management of daily operations and timetables
Management of bookings for new and existing clients
Management of new and existing client accounts and charge rates
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and contractors
Various, detailed Ad-Hoc duties


People Management

Management of up to 20 staff members
Management of staff rosters, sick leave and annual leave coverage
Management of staff timesheets ensuring all data is entered correctly
Onboarding, inducting and training of new staff members
Preparation and management of staff appraisals and professional development What you'll need to succeed
Previous office management experience
Previous people management experience
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks
Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail skills
Ability to work independently as well as within a team
Excellent problem solving skills with demonstrated innovative thinking skills
Intermediate-advanced computer skills with the ability to use multiple systems effectively
Previous experience/ knowledge within HR and OHS is highly desirable
