About the Opportunity:
Reporting into the Security Operations Leader, the Cloud Security Engineer will join a growing Cyber Security team with the main purpose to develop & maintain security monitoring systems in EAs cloud-based environments.
Develop and maintain a continued service improvement program which ensures security systems are operating and reporting at full potential (Azure environment)
Ensure EnergyAustralias cloud environments are designed and deployed to meet EA security policies and industry best practices, and that cloud infrastructure is built to facilitate security monitoring of cloud-based assets.
Continuous improvement - Identify security weaknesses in existing cloud hosted systems and applications and perform risk assessments to define remediation controls
Research and test new tools and techniques to identify vulnerabilities in the people, processes and technologies that combine to provide EAs cyber detective and protective controls.
