Position: Allied Health Assistant transitioning into Speech Pathology (New Graduates 2024) Location: Canberra, ACT Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time, Permanent Salary: $80,000 + Super About the position Joining our interdisciplinary team, you will utilise your clinical expertise to assess and provide assistance to children aged 0 to 18 in a large and reputable private clinic located in Canberra, ACT. You will integrate into a supportive team environment that values collaboration, offering tailored supervision, clinical guidance, and mentorship to support your professional growth. This position is tailored for Allied Health Assistants who will graduate by the end of 2024 and are transitioning into Speech Pathology. You will participate in cooperative projects and contribute to our flexible team of Speech and Language Pathologists, as well as other Allied Health professionals in an interdisciplinary team. The role covers a wide range of clinical domains including speech sound disorders, language development, literacy, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), feeding issues, and fluency. As you advance and transition into Speech Pathology, you will have the opportunity to specialise in early intervention or complex communication needs.
