Rasa Beverages, a Sydney based beverage manufacturer, has been expanding its operations by producing and distributing premium health drinks across Australia. We also provide contract packaging services for other brands in the industry. As we continue to grow, we are looking to add new members to the Rasa family.
About the role
We value teamwork and are currently seeking an Assistant Production Manager to join our team and learn the ropes of production. The position will report to our Production Manager
What will you do
• Monitoring production output and costs and making necessary adjustments to minimize costs.
• Supervising the procurement and installation of new machinery and equipment.
• Leading research on production techniques and suggesting and executing new initiatives.
• Managing the preparation of production reports and records.
• Coordinating compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
• Supervising staff and evaluating their performance.
• Organizing the packing of pallets and ensuring timely shipment of inventory
Ideally you will have
• Experience with a food & beverage manufacturer or brewer.
• Experience working under HACCP, SQF Systems
• Raw material handling & CIP
• Knowledge of conducting quality checks & keeping production records
• It is also expected that successful applicant will have a forklift licence or be prepared to get one.
