The Hoochery Distillery is Western Australia's oldest operating legal still, located in Kununurra, WA. It is a fast growing and dynamic business. We are seeking an energetic and positive person to join our team.
The role:
The Accounts Clerk has responsibility for effective processing of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, whilst providing financial, administrative and clerical services to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative functions within our business.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Preparing and processing documentation related to accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconciling invoices and dispatching payments
- Preparing all aspects of sale reconciliation including cash, credit card, eftpos and online payments
- Recording and analysing expenditure and receipts
- Ordering and purchasing raw materials and packaging supplies
- Preparing and reporting on inventory for purposes of excise tax
- Preparing and processing payroll
- Preparing wholesale orders and dispatch
- Assisting with general office administration
- Other duties as directed by the relevant manager
Desirable Selection Criteria:
- Qualifications in Administrative and / or Accounting disciplines
- Previous experience using XERO software
- Strong organisational and communication skills and ability to work independently
- Must hold current drivers license
Ordinary Hours:
Monday - Friday
8AM - 4PM
