About The Role:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to join the team on a Naval sustainment program. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Defence Naval systems, specifically above-water systems, and demonstrate experience in electrical design. The candidate must hold a Level 2 Engineering Authority and possess NV1 security clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the electrical engineering team to ensure the successful delivery of the program objectives.
Oversee the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems to enhance defence naval capabilities.
Ensure compliance with relevant Defence standards and regulations.
Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, ensuring high-quality and innovative engineering solutions.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including Defence clients, to ensure alignment of engineering activities with program requirements.
