Role: Environmental Solutions (ES) Specialist

Location: Brisbane (QLD), Adelaide (SA) & Perth (WA)

Roster: 4:4 Equal Time

Job Description:
On behalf our client Brunel is seeking ES Field Specialist who directly responsible for safely and efficiently managing the operation of ES Drilling & Waste Management equipment required at the wellsite. Has an in-depth understanding of how drilling fluids and waste management systems influence each other, and capable of performing advanced troubleshooting and extraordinary maintenance on ES technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Provide onsite services to the operator for Environmental Services (ES) equipment.
• Advise customer representatives on product application and installation.
• Maintain surveillance of competitor’s activities.
• Prepare operational and technical reports for customers.
• Determine operation parameters for equipment and systems.
• Clean, maintain, and run unit equipment to optimize operating parameters.
• Inspect, test, service and repair equipment to ensure working condition.
• Assemble and install equipment for operation.
• Monitor, operate and control equipment.
• Manage spare parts and equipment inventory.
• Document equipment operations for future use and traceability purposes through daily reporting procedures common to the area.
• Converse with operator and contractor personnel about routine operating procedures and service related to equipment operation.
• Prepare equipment maintenance reports.
• Evaluate equipment installation to determine if equipment has been misapplied.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to complete equipment repairs.
• Gather operating information to make necessary changes to optimize equipment performance.
• Review reports to detect changes in system parameters.
• Explain product function and tips on troubleshooting to customer and rig personnel.


Qualifications and Experience:
• Have mechanical & electrical background.
• Must have minimum five (5) years’ experience in all solids control equipment and remote locations
• Must have minimum six (6) years field and offshore Solids Control Operations experience as an Environmental Solutions (ES) Field Specialist.
• Have valid BOSIET, MSIC, CSTP and OGUK medical certificates.
• Knowledgeable regarding drilling rig types, rig components, rig component functions, drilling operations, drilling fluids circulation system, drilling fluid system, primary techniques and systems used for drilling waste management.
• Ability to maintain, trouble shooting, prepare and dispatch of equipment.
• Ability to maintain high quality of service delivery at the wellsite, in terms of safety, quality and efficiency of operation.
• Ability to run required services, supervise operations and managing people, interact with clients and other related parties.
• Good personnel skills, excellent in communication, highly self-motivated, competent computer skills and ability to learn new software.
• Can work in a high-pressure, learns quickly and adapts to new problems and situations.
• Must be a team player, able to get along with individuals from other groups in the organization, and a good communicator.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills essential.

Salary from 80,000 to 100,000 per annum
