The Role: The solution designer in collaboration with service designers, architects and developers will design secure, stable, and supportive technology solutions that improve the Departments productivity, lower costs, and modernise aging systems and processes. The solution designer will support the Product Management team, by working with product managers and owners, analysing user and business requirements and liaising with technical and systems developers to ensure the best solution is developed within the constraints of enterprise systems and legislation. The solution designer may produce detailed component specifications, translating service design solutions into detailed designs and whole of digital solutions. The role is responsible for undertaking work that is moderately complex to complex and/or sensitive in nature, under limited direction, utilising expertise and knowledge within the area of solution design.
