Open for only Canberra location. A Senior Linux Security Engineer is responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of Linux-based systems within an organization and their role involves a combination of system administration, security engineering, and incident response.
Responsibilities:
Develop, build, and deploy Linux operating systems tailored to organizational needs.
Mentor Linux Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to enhance their technical expertise.
Collaborate with various teams to gather requirements and ensure Linux server configurations meet organizational goals.
Integrate sophisticated ICT infrastructure software and applications with Linux OS.
Troubleshoot, log, track, and resolve complex issues related to Linux Standard Operating Environments (SOEs) and integrated business applications.
Implement robust security measures to ensure the resilience and protection of Linux servers.
Create and maintain a library of automated builds to streamline configurations and boost operational efficiency.
