Quality Centre Food Services Pty Ltd Employed by Quality Centre, the Buyer will work closely with retail partners to identify, source, and procure a range of products that meet the retailer’s requirements for quality, price, and market trends. This role demands a keen understanding of retail dynamics, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to foster and maintain supplier relationships.     Benefits Staff discounted Pricing on all the items Task & Responsibilities Product Sourcing and Procurement: •               Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and products based on retailer specifications. •               Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best deals. •               Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods in alignment with retailer needs and market trends. Supplier Relationship Management: •               Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers. •               Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance. •               Conduct regular reviews and audits of supplier performance. Market Analysis and Trend Monitoring: •               Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, emerging products, and competitive landscape. •               Provide insights and recommendations to retailers on product selection and market opportunities. Inventory Management: •               Coordinate with the retailer and internal logistics teams to ensure optimal inventory levels. •               Monitor stock levels and manage reordering processes to prevent stockouts and overstock situations. Collaboration and Communication: •               Liaise with retail partners to understand their product requirements and business goals. •               Work closely with internal teams, including logistics, quality control, and finance, to ensure seamless operations. •               Provide regular reports and updates to both the wholesaler and the retailer on purchasing activities, market conditions, and supplier performance. Qualification & Experience Relevant qualifications required. Proven experience as a Retail Buyer in the premium food sector. Strong leadership and communication skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales performance data. Creative and strategic thinking to develop effective marketing campaigns. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
