Little Blessings Early Learning Centre is a privately owned boutique long day care centre. We care for children aged six (6) weeks to six (6) years and we are open from 7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. Our Centre is designed to provide the highest possible standard of care and education for children.
We are seeking an exceptional and experienced Early Childhood Teacher who is excited about our vision and values and is dedicated to ensuring children are given the opportunity to become the best that they can be. About the Role
We are seeking a qualified full-time Early Childhood Teacher who will be responsible for:
? Developing and organising learning activities and instructional materials tailored to the needs of young children.
? Creating and delivering curriculum-aligned lesson plans focusing on early childhood development areas, such as literacy, numeracy, social skills, and motor skills.
? Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
? Managing classroom behaviour by implementing positive discipline techniques and promoting respectful interactions among children.
? Observing and evaluating children's progress and development, and providing feedback to parents and guardians through regular reports and parent-teacher meetings.
? Communicating effectively with parents about their child's progress, needs, and any concerns, as well as involving parents and the community in school activities and events to foster a collaborative educational environment.
? Participating in ongoing professional development to stay updated with current educational practices and theories while collaborating with colleagues and contributing to the development of the educational program and teaching strategies.
? Providing emotional and educational support to children, addressing their needs and promoting their overall well-being as well as offering guidance and resources to parents to support their child's learning and development at home.
About you:
The minimum requirements for the position are:
? At least 3 years of relevant work experience as Early Childhood Teacher
? Relevant Bachelor Degree in Teaching or relevant qualification.
? Proven experience in early childhood teaching, with a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
? Be passionate about working with children
? Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and First Aid certificate, including CPR and Anaphylaxis training.
