About the Position
We are currently seeking Heavy Diesel Plant Mechanics with Surface and Underground equipment experience to join our talented team in the Port Hedland workshop for an immediate start.
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining Force (and customer) equipment / machines ensuring availability / integrity, the successful person will be responsible for:
Focus on safe working environment and quality of workmanship;
Major customer machine rebuilds carried out in the workshop;
Ongoing repairs and maintenance of in-house and customer equipment;
Maintenance and repairs on Caterpillar, Liebherr, Elphinstone,Sandvik, Atlas Copco - Epiroc, Hitachi and Komatsu equipment within budgets and time frames;
Working with the Force Equipment customers to meet their company objectives; and
Quality control on all work performed.
Your Skills and Experience
Nationally recognised trade qualification;
Experience with heavy earthmoving equipment;
A strong commitment to safety;
Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution focus;
A keen eye for detail, presentation and craftsmanship; and
The ability to work as part of a cohesive team;
