This position will require a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to work in a high-volume environment.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the full function of Payroll, in a high-volume environment, payroll administration and the upkeep of payroll data. Your primary focus will be ensuring timely and accurate processing of employee payroll. You will be responsible for processing payroll, remitting payroll taxes and submitting data for government reporting, as well as preparing monthly, quarterly and year-end payroll statements. The Payroll Officer will ensure compliance with government submissions and regulations and drafting and implementing policies on payroll matters.
What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role, you will have proven experience operating as a Payroll Officer within a fast-paced, high-volume organisation. You will need to have strong computer literacy with proficiency across Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint. As well as the ability to learn and understand systems, software and procedures. Experience with HRIS systems (Oracle HCM is highly regarded).
